These terms apply to our websites, our mobile applications, and the content we publish. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Our online shop is operated on a separate commerce platform. It publishes its own refund and returns policy, which sets out how returns, exchanges, damaged items and refunds are handled, including the 14-day cancellation right for orders shipped into the European Union. That policy applies to anything you buy from us, and these terms govern your purchase in every other respect. The commerce platform that operates the shop also handles payment and applies its own terms to that service.
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use them only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You agree to use them lawfully and not to interfere with them or with anyone else's use.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use our sites and apps for their intended purpose. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them, reverse-engineer them, scrape them at scale, or use them to build a competing product.
Apps downloaded from an app store are also subject to that store's terms.
Orders are placed through our shop platform. An order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we accept it, and we may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable or a listing contained an error.
The text, images, video, audio, designs, artwork and brand names on our sites and channels are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. MFUKO., NIMEVAA, Dunia Docs, Kosa Khronicles and Tanga Legacy are our brands.
Some of what we publish is created with AI tools, including imagery, narration and design work. It remains our content, and the terms in this section apply to it in the same way.
You may share and link to our published content in the ordinary way platforms allow. You may not use our artwork, designs or brand names on goods, or in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Some of what we publish features real people. If you appear in something we have published and want us to stop using it, email info@tangalegacy.com. What we will do — and what we cannot undo — is set out in our Privacy Policy.
If you send us a comment, a message, a review or a suggestion, you allow us to read it, reply to it, and use it internally to improve what we do.
We use AI tools to help read and respond to what you send us.
We do not take ownership of it. We do not take a perpetual licence in it. And we will not publish your name, image, voice or likeness from a message, tag or submission without asking you first — separately, and in a way you can decline.
Please do not send us anything confidential, or anything you do not have the right to send.
Our sites and channels link to services we do not control, including app stores, social platforms and our shop platform. Their terms and privacy policies apply to what happens there, and we are not responsible for them.
We try to keep everything working but we do not guarantee that our sites, apps or channels will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any of them.
To the extent the law allows, our sites, apps and content are provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The following terms govern our internal social media management tool, which is used by our own team and authorised contractors to manage accounts we own. They do not apply to members of the public.
Access is limited to employees and contractors of Tanga Legacy Holdings who have been given credentials by us. If you are not one of those people, these terms give you no right to use the tool, and none is implied by this page being public.
The tool connects only to social media accounts owned and operated by Tanga Legacy Holdings. Connection is authorised through each platform's own OAuth flow by a person who controls that account, and can be revoked at any time from the platform's own settings.
We do not connect accounts belonging to anyone else, and we do not offer account connection as a service to third parties.
Content published through the tool is produced by us, licensed to us, or generated using AI tooling we license. We are responsible for it. Where content is generated or materially edited by AI, we disclose that using the labelling each platform provides.
All rights in the content remain with Tanga Legacy Holdings or its licensors.
Publishing through the tool is subject to the terms of the platform being posted to, including Meta's Platform Terms and TikTok's Terms of Service, Branded Content Policy and Music Usage Confirmation. Where these terms and a platform's terms conflict, the platform's terms govern that platform.
We do not use the tool to post spam, to post on behalf of accounts we do not own, to manipulate engagement, or to circumvent any platform limit.
The tool is provided as-is, for our own use. We make no uptime commitment, and we may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, Tanga Legacy Holdings accepts no liability arising from use of the tool. As it is used only by our own staff on our own accounts, any loss falls to us.
